0. Definitions.
The EKU Championship
Regulations regulate issuing of the following Champion Titles:
-
Estonian
Junior Champion (EST J CH);
-
Estonian Show
Champion (EST V CH); - Estonian Veteran Champion (EST Vet CH);
-
Baltic Junior
Champion (BALT J CH);
-
Baltic
Champion (BALT CH); - Baltic Veteran Champion (BALT Vet CH);
-
Estonian Lure
Coursing Champion (EST M CH);
-
Estonian
Agility Champion (EST AG CH);
-
Estonian
Working Champion (EST IPO CH, EST VPG CH, EST PJK CH, EST SK CH, EST KK CH).
1. Obtaining the title
Estonian Junior Champion.
1.1.
The title Estonian Junior Champion (EST J CH) is obtained by the dog, who has
received three Junior Certificates (JUN CAC) from three different judges.
1.2. JUN CAC (JUN SERT) – a
rosette with blue outer and white inner circle and a blue and a white
streamer, on the blue streamer the letters “JUN SERT” appear. In the very centre of the rosette, the gold-white
Estonian Kennel Union logo is presented. The blue and white colour must
correspond to those of Estonian Flag.
1.2.1. JUN CAC is obtained by „Excellent” 1st in
Junior Class; JUN CAC is awarded separately for both
sexes in all all FCI and EKU approved breeds.
1.2.2. In case the „Excellent” 1st may not accept
JUN CAC, the judge awards JUN CAC to the next-in-line dog with qualification
„Excellent”, who may accept JUN CAC.
1.2.3. JUN CAC may only be awarded on the shows,
that have been entered to the official EKU Show Calendar.
1.3. Dogs, who have already received the Junior
Champion title of a FCI (recognised) country, need one JUN CAC, to obtain the
title Estonian Junior Champion.
1.4. The dogs, meeting
the following conditions, may not accept JUN CAC:
-
the dog has
already obtained Estonian Junior Champion title;
-
the dog has
already obtained a JUN CAC from the given judge;
-
the dog has
already received three JUN CAC from three different judges.
1.5. In case the JUN CAC has been awarded
incorrectly, the EKU Office may annul it and/or award it to the next dog
entitled to receiving the JUN CAC.
2. Obtaining the title
Estonian Show Champion.
2.1. The title Estonian
Show Champion (EST V CH), can be obtained by the dog, who has:
2.1.1. obtained three CAC (SERT) or
2.1.2. has obtained two JUN CAC and two CAC from
different judges or
2.1.3. has been awarded Estonian Junior Champion
title and has obtained one CAC;
2.1.4. at least one CAC must be obtained when the
dog has turned 24 months of age;
2.1.5. working/hunting breeds, that need working
results for INT CH, must have passed relevant working trials (Appendix 1).
2.2. CAC (SERT) – a rosette with blue outer and white inner circle and a blue,
black and a white streamer, on the black streamer the letters “SERT” appear. In the very centre of the rosette, the gold-white
Estonian Kennel Union logo is presented. The blue, black and white colour must
correspond to those of Estonian Flag.
2.2.1. CAC is obtained by „Excellent” 1st in
CAC/CACIB Competition Round; CAC is awarded separately for both sexes in all
all FCI and EKU approved breeds.
2.2.2. In case the „Excellent” 1st may not accept
CAC, the judge awards CAC to the next-in- line dog with qualification „Excellent”,
who may accept CAC.
2.2.3. CAC may only be awarded on the shows, that
have been entered to the official EKU Show Calendar.
2.3. Dogs, who have obtained the Show Champion title
of a FCI (recognised) country, need one CAC – received earliest when turning 24 months
of age – to obtain the title Estonian Show Champion only provided Estonian dogs receive the champion title of that country with one CAC.
2.4. The dogs, meeting
the following conditions, may not accept CAC:
-
the dog has
already obtained Estonian Show Champion title;
-
the dog has
already obtained a CAC from the given judge;
-
the dog has
already received two CAC from two different judges, and is not yet 24 months of
age;
-
the dog has
already received three CAC from three different judges;
-
the dog has
two JUN CAC and one CAC, but is not yet 24 months of age;
-
the dog has
two JUN CAC and two CAC, one of the latter received earliest at 24 months of
age;
-
the dog has
obtained Estonian Junior Champion title, or has received three JUN CAC from
three different judges, and has been awarded a CAC at the age of 24 months or
up.
2.5. In case the CAC has been awarded incorrectly,
the EKU Office may annul it and/or award it to the next dog entitled to
receiving the CAC.
3. Obtaining the title "Estonian Veteran
Champion".
3.1. The title "Estonian Veteran Champion" (EST Vet CH) is
obtained by the dog, who has received three titles of the Best Veteran of Breed
or the Best Veteran of Opposite Sex from three different judges after
01.01.2008.
3.2. Dogs, who have already received the Veteran Champion title of a
FCI (recognised) country, need one title of the Best Veteran of Breed or the
Best Veteran of Opposite Sex – received after 01.01.2008 – to obtain the EST
Vet CH title.
3.3. Dogs, who have already received the Estonian Show Champion
title, need one title of the Best Veteran of Breed or the Best Veteran of
Opposite Sex – received after 01.01.2008 – to obtain the EST Vet CH title.”
4. Obtaining the title
Baltic Junior Champion.
4.1. Awarding the title Baltic Junior Champion
(BALT J CH), is settled by the Baltic Contract between the three Kennel Unions
of the Baltic States (signed in Palanga on 02.08.2002).
4.2. The title Baltic Junior Champion is awarded to
the dog, who already has the Junior Champion titles of the three Baltic States
– Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
4.3. In order to obtain the title, the owner of
the dog must present the diplomas of Estonian Junior Champion, Latvian Junior
Champion and Lithuanian Junior Champion to the EKU Office.
5. Obtaining the title
Baltic Champion.
5.1. Awarding the title Baltic Champion (BALT CH),
is settled by the Baltic Contract between the three Kennel Unions of Baltic
States (signed in Palanga on 02.08.1997).
5.2. The title Baltic Champion is awarded to the
dog, who already has the Show Champion titles of the three Baltic States –
Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
5.3. In order to obtain the title, the owner of
the dog must present the diplomas of Estonian Show Champion, Latvian Champion
and Lithuanian Champion to the EKU Office.
6. Obtaining the title “Baltic Veteran
Champion”.
6.1. Awarding the title "Baltic Veteran Champion" (BALT
Vet CH) is settled by the Baltic Contract between the three Kennel Unions of
the Baltic States (signed in Palanga on
02.08.2002).
6.2. The title BALT Vet CH is awarded to the dog, who already has
the Veteran Champion titles of the three Baltic States – Estonia, Latvia
and Lithuania.
6.3. In order to obtain the title, the owner of the dog must present
the diplomas of Estonian Veteran Champion, Latvian Veteran Champion and
Lithuanian Veteran Champion to the EKU Office.”
7. Obtaining the
Estonian Lure Coursing Champion title.
7.1. The title Estonian Lure Coursing Champion (EST
M CH) is awarded to the dog, who has obtained five Lure Coursing Certificates
(M CAC). A dog may be awarded up to four M CAC during one calendar year.
7.2. Lure Coursing Certificate (M CAC) – a rosette with blue outer and white inner circle and a blue,
black and a white streamer; on the black streamer the letters “M SERT” appear. In the very centre of the rosette, the gold-white
Estonian Kennel Union logo is presented. The blue, black and white colour must
correspond to those of Estonian Flag.
5.2.1. M CAC can be awarded only on the trials,
that have been entered to the official EKU Lure Coursing Calendar.
7.3. Dogs, who have already received the Lure
Coursing Champion title of a FCI (recognised) country, need one M CAC to obtain
the title Estonian Lure Coursing Champion.
7.4. The dogs, meeting
the following conditions, may not accept CAC:
-
the dog
already has obtained the EST M CH title;
-
the dog
already has been awarded four M CAC during the given year.
8 Obtaining the Estonian
Agility Champion title.
8.. The title Estonian Agility Champion (EST AG CH)
can be obtained by the dog, who has received 1st placing (with result: 0) from
the highest class on an official agility competition, that has been entered to
the EKU Agility Calendar. The placings must have been reveiced from three
different judges. One of the results may have been obtained from the Jumping
Track. The dog must also have received at least the qualification „Good” on an
official show, after turning 15 months of age.
82. Dogs, who have already received the Agility
Champion title of a FCI (recognised) country, need one 1st placing (with
result: 0) from the highest class on an official agility competition entered to
the EKU Agility Calendar, to obtain the
title Estonian Agility Champion.
9 Obtaining the title Estonian Working Champion (EST IPO
CH, EST VPG CH, EST PJK CH, EST SK CH, EST KK CH).
9.1. The title Estonian Working Champion can be
obtained by the dogs that have obtained the following results from the official
competitions entered to the EKU Trial Calendar:
9.1.1. IPO and VPG (SchH) – at least three results
from the highest level with result „Good” from two different judges;
9.1.2. PJK – at least three results from the
highest level with result „Good” from two different judges;
9.1.3. KK – at least three highest qualification
from the highest level from two different judges;
9.1.4. SK –
at least three results with I rank in International Obedience Class (EVÕI) from
two different judges.
9.1.5. the dog must as well have received at least
the qualification „Good” on an official show, after turning 15 months of age.
9.2. Dogs, who have already received the Working
Champion title of a FCI (recognised) country in the given field, need one
result from the highest level to obtain the title Estonian Working Champion.
The result must be received trom the official competition entered in the EKU
Trial Calendar.
9.2.1. IPO and VPG (SchH) – qualification „Good”;
9.2.2. PJK – qualification „Good”;
9.2.3. KK – highest qualification available;
9.2.4. SK (Obedience) – I rank in International Obedience Class (EVÕI),
|
