Canine distemper, infective hepatitis and parvovirus infection. A dog shall be vaccinated against canine distemper, infective hepatitis and parvovirus infection at least twice as a pup (the last vaccination at the age of 14-16 weeks). Further revaccinations shall be carried out based on instructions provided on the pharmaceutical’s information leaflet and the WSAVA guidelines for vaccination of dogs, but with no lesser frequency than once in every 3 years. Before a dog is allowed to participate in shows or other events associated with an assemblage of dogs, at least two weeks must have passed since the second vaccination (revaccination) of the pup. If the term of revaccination has passed, at least two weeks must have passed since a new vaccination before the dog is allowed to participate in events associated with an assemblage of dogs. Adult dogs have no waiting time for vaccinations carried out before the expiry of the term of validity. Rabies
A dog shall be vaccinated against rabies from the age of 12 weeks (earlier vaccinations are not taken into account) and at least 30 days must have passed since the vaccination before the dog is allowed to participate in shows or other events associated with an assemblage of dogs. Thereafter, animals are vaccinated based on instructions and frequency provided on the information leaflet provided with the vaccine, but with no lesser frequency than once in every 24 months since the last vaccination. If the term of revaccination has passed, at least 30 day must have passed since a new vaccination before the dog is allowed to participate in shows and competitions or other events associated with an assemblage of dogs.
There is no waiting time for vaccinations carried out before the expiry of the term of validity.
Other requirements. Upon inspection, a properly made veterinary passport shall be presented, whereas the passport shall identify the dog’s identification information and notes, signed by a veterinarian, of each vaccination. In case of discrepancies between the revaccination term identified in the passport and vaccination requirements imposed on dogs participating in events recognised by the Estonian Kennel Union, the term indicated in the dog's passport shall be considered prevailing when allowing the dog to participate in an event.
